PR Info _ Ralf Brueck belongs to the younger exponents of the Düsseldorf School of Photography that originated world-known artists like Candida Höfer, Thomas Struth, Andreas Gursky and Thomas Ruff. The series “Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft“ (DAF) forms the basis of the artist’s latest exhibition. In addition to photographs from the DAF series, this exhibition will also include new photographs from the “Distortion” and “Dekonstruktion” series that were taken in New York City. They critically examine the medium through their deliberate manipulations and digital editing.

This exhibition was also made possible with support by the ‘so what gallery’. The gallery is known for its contemporary art photography and the opportunity it provides international photographers to offer their work in small editions. ‘so what gallery’ is located in Dusseldorf, Germany and is curated by Kunst & Denker Contemporary.
